# Create subscription balances

POST https://api.brevo.com/v3/loyalty/balance/programs/{pid}/subscriptions/{cid}/balances

Creates a balance for a contact

## Authentication

- `api-key` header (required) — The API key should be passed in the request headers as `api-key` for authentication.

## Request

### Path parameters

- `pid` (string, required) — Loyalty Program Id
- `cid` (string, required) — Contact Id

### Body (application/json)

This endpoint expects an object.

- `balanceDefinitionId` (string, required) — Unique identifier (UUID) of the balance definition associated with the new balance.

## Response

### 200

Successful creation of balance

- `id` (string, optional) — Unique identifier for the balance.
- `amount` (float, optional) — The current amount available in the balance.
- `loyaltyProgramId` (string, optional) — Loyalty program ID.
- `organizationId` (long, optional) — Organization ID.
- `contactId` (long, optional) — Contact ID.
- `balanceDefinitionId` (string, optional) — Balance definition ID.
- `createdAt` (datetime, optional) — Timestamp of when the balance was created.
- `expiresAt` (datetime, optional) — Expiration timestamp of the balance.
- `consumedAt` (datetime, optional) — Timestamp of when the balance was last consumed.

### 401 Unauthorized Error

- `code` (string, optional) — Error code displayed in case of a failure

### 403 Forbidden Error

Cannot Authenticate Request
