Events

The Events API tracks and manages interactions between contacts or users within Brevo. An event can represent any action a Brevo user performs on a Brevo object — for example, updating contacts or sending an email.

Use events to:

• Log important events in the system and track the history of a contact.
• Segment the contacts database by behaviour.
• Trigger automation workflows.

Pre-requisites

You need an API key to access the Events API endpoints on the API reference. To get an API key, see the guide for retrieving the API key from your user account.
