Unified events service to track a contacts interaction with businesses
The Events API is a platform designed to facilitate the tracking and management of interactions between contacts or users within Brevo. An event could be related to an action a Brevo user performed on a Brevo object like updating contacts or sending an email etc.
Events are used to:
- Log important events in the system and track the history of a particular contact
- Segment the contacts database according to behaviours
- Trigger automation workflows
Pre-requisites
You need to have an API-key to access the Events API endpoints on the API reference. To get an API-key, you can consult the guide for getting the API-key from the user account.
